UPSTATE AUTO TRANSPORTATION INC
UPSTATE AUTO TRANSPORTATION INC operates out of LEROY, NY and holds carrier authority. It owns the equipment and its own driver collects your vehicle. A mid-sized fleet. This is the size that reliably runs fixed lanes week to week rather than chasing whatever load is nearest. It is the only auto transport company registered in LEROY, so a local pickup here is usually arranged rather than dispatched from down the road.
From the company’s own FMCSA census filing, last updated October 2025.
UPSTATE AUTO TRANSPORTATION INC has held operating authority since 2004, 22 years, long enough to have run through both the 2020 collapse in volumes and the rate spike that followed. It reports 6 power units and 6 drivers — a one-to-one roster, the ordinary shape of a small fleet. The fleet reported 465,259 miles in 2025, about 77,543 per truck — steady regional running.

Take MC 617075 to the FMCSA licensing register and confirm three things: the authority still reads ACTIVE, cargo insurance is on file, and the company name matches whoever is asking for your deposit. Our data is a snapshot of the federal register, not a recommendation, and authority can lapse between refreshes.
