From the company’s own FMCSA census filing, last updated May 2026.
EMPIRE AUTO TRANSPORTATION GROUP, INC. has held operating authority since 2005, 21 years, long enough to have run through both the 2020 collapse in volumes and the rate spike that followed. It reports 17 power units but only 14 drivers, which usually means some of the fleet sits idle or is run by owner-operators contracted per load. The fleet reported 854,157 miles in 2024, about 50,245 per truck — steady regional running.

Take MC 539721 to the FMCSA licensing register and confirm three things: the authority still reads ACTIVE, cargo insurance is on file, and the company name matches whoever is asking for your deposit.
