WF AUTO TRANSPORT LLC
WF AUTO TRANSPORT LLC operates out of SHELTON, CT and holds carrier authority. It owns the equipment and its own driver collects your vehicle. A small fleet. Enough trucks to cover a missed pickup, small enough that the person quoting you is likely the person dispatching the driver. It is the only auto transport company registered in SHELTON, so a local pickup here is usually arranged rather than dispatched from down the road.
From the company’s own FMCSA census filing, last updated March 2025.
WF AUTO TRANSPORT LLC has held operating authority since 2021. That is 5 years in a trade where a large share of new entrants do not reach five. It reports 4 power units and 5 drivers — a one-to-one roster, the ordinary shape of a small fleet. The fleet reported 100,000 miles in 2025, about 25,000 per truck — light or seasonal use.

Take MC 1202688 to the FMCSA licensing register and confirm three things: the authority still reads ACTIVE, cargo insurance is on file, and the company name matches whoever is asking for your deposit. Our data is a snapshot of the federal register, not a recommendation, and authority can lapse between refreshes.
